Zeina Mina holds a doctorate in Sports Science and was the former Dean of the Sports Science Faculty at Antonine University in Lebanon (2009-2019).
A Pioneering Leader in Sports Education and Youth Empowerment
Zeina Mina is a distinguished Lebanese sports educator and administrator whose career has been dedicated to fostering athletic excellence, education, and youth empowerment. Born on January 1, 1963, she represented Lebanon in the women's 400 meters at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, a testament to her athletic prowess and commitment to sports.
As the Dean of the Faculty of Sports Science at Antonine University, Zeina led one of Lebanon’s most prestigious sports education institutions, setting new benchmarks for academic and athletic excellence. Her visionary leadership contributed to the development of innovative curricula and international standards that shaped the future of sports education in Lebanon.
Zeina is also the Founder of Sports Academy School (SAS), the first sports vocational school in Lebanon, which offers students the unique opportunity to combine academic learning with specialized sports training. Through SAS, she has created pathways for countless young athletes to achieve their potential and pursue careers in sports and education.
Her passion for nurturing talent extends to her role as the Founder of Lebanese Young Talent (LYT), an NGO dedicated to detecting and supporting young talent. LYT focuses on providing education, resources, and opportunities to underprivileged youth, enabling them to overcome barriers and achieve their dreams.
Currently serving as the Director of the Francophone Games in Paris, Zeina continues to drive international collaboration in sports and culture. Her leadership ensures that the Games serve as a platform for showcasing talent and fostering global connections.

Through her work with SAS and LYT, she has empowered youth, nurtured talent, and helped individuals reach their full potential, leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of sports education and development in Lebanon and beyond.
